Nose: Hay and cut grass, pollen, and calendula tea. Vanilla essence and orange zest.
Palate: Medium-full. Creamy custard over stewed plums, pears, and peaches. Some sweet milk cookie and malted milk notes.
Finish: Medium-short, on peach and malty notes, then red apple.
Comment: Simple, fruity flavours to suit all occasions.

Taster
Nose: The spiciness of charred new oak. Crème brûlée with a crunchy top. Vanilla bean paste and fresh fig. It has overtones of tiramisu: mascarpone, a hint of espresso powder, and sponge fingers.
Palate: Medium bodied, with slight oiliness. The tiramisu notes of coffee and mascarpone continue with milk chocolate, subtle date, orange marmalade, and black cherry. A nuttiness, like that from sloe berries, and more woody spice.
Finish: Medium. Cinnamon and orange peel, accompanied by gentle tannins.
Comment: Like a pillowy dessert.
Score: 8.1
