Finish: Long, on toffee and crème de violette.

Comment: Balanced, mature, and very well rounded.

Taster

Nose: Toffee popcorn, toasted pine nuts, buttery hard caramels, savoury American biscuits, and caraway seed. Cherry pits and freshly scraped vanilla pod. Lemon peel and a hint of pollen.

Palate: Light-medium. Cherry-menthol cough sweets and walnut. The bitterness of black coffee, with rye crackers and herby cream cheese. Caramel milk chocolate bar and a hint of gingernut biscuit.

Finish: Long, becoming more familiar with buttered popcorn, coconut milk, and clove.

Comment: A fairly restrained bourbon, with fruit and spice up front.
