It's a decent blend, but there's something about the wood that\rdoesn't seem quite right.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Soft. Vanilla, some grain? Touch of crisp cereal, dried grass, pecan and lemon. With water just a little foosty/musty.

Palate: Clean with light dried fruits, then old cellar and dried flower. Old pears.\rSadly, it's musty when diluted.

Finish: Lemon verbena.

Comment: It's a decent blend, but there's something about the wood that\rdoesn't seem quite right.

Score: 7

Taster

Nose: Fruity and malty. Fudge, ripe medlar. Apple and cinnamon pie. Some barley water.A slight ozonic note, like a garden after a heavy shower.

Palate: Smooth. Sweet. A bit weak and watery. Sweet maltiness then a spicy edge.\rTangerine juice in the back.

Finish: Short. Astringent.

Comment: A decent dram although a bit dour on the finish. But no real excitement.
