Nose: Perfumy. Vétiver, aniseed. Varnish, fresh paint. Opens up milk chocolate with raisins. A warm note of dry hay.

Palate: Round, smooth. Velvety. The malty sweetness is balanced by a minty character.

Finish: Spicy. Ginger.

Comment: A well knitted whisky. With a good malty presence on the nose as on the palate. Interesting.

Nose: Floor polish and painted wood. Milk chocolate and a sweet hay briar note.

Palate: Quite big with loads of malt and just a gentle hint of menthol. There is an aniseed quality too.

Finish: Full of spices.

Comment: A well made whisky that shows balance.
