Nose: Husky hay and malted milk biscuits. There’s dried out playdough there too, followed by nectarine, pear drops, and floral heather.
Palate: Fragrant like fabric softener, heather flowers, pea shoots and fresh fruits that are giving me green grocer vibes and hay barns on a hot summer’s day.
Finish: Clean linen fills the medium-length finish with some lingering sweetness.

Taster
Nose: Dusty hay loft and uncooked dough. Pear drop and white grape. Subtle blueberry and rice flour. Kiwi and white chocolate. Coconut milk.
Palate: Medium to full bodied on the palate. There’s a surprising lack of prickle, considering the ABV. Packed full of orchard fruits – apple boiled sweets and pear lollies. Gentle tannin and sweet elderflower cordial. A subtle breadiness.
Finish: Medium, with pink lady apple and vanilla ice cream.
Comment: A very quaffable malt which I suspect would work nicely in a Piña Colada!
Score: 8
