Tasting Notes

Nose

Rich, buttery biscuit dough. Green apple skin, leaning into apple cider. Lemon curd and sour cream. White grape, kiwi, light honey, and Dijon mustard. Raw barley and Iced Gems. Baked soufflé.

Palate

Light-medium. Lemon curd tarts and iced cinnamon buns. Subtle tobacco. Caraway seed and ground turmeric. Honey spread thickly on pancakes. Cooked apple and vanilla wafer.

Finish

Medium-short, on lemon-flavoured boiled sweets and water biscuits.

Comment

A grain-forward malt with great potential. Opens nicely with water.
