Nose: Intense, perfumy. Floral. Gillyflowers. Opens on fruity notes. Gooseberry. Pears poached in a spicy syrup. Complex. Multilayered. Honeyed peaches.

Palate: Sweet and luscious. Silky (raw silk). Oak and fruit mingle perfectly. Nougat. Dried cranberries and raisins.

Finish: Very clean, soft and dry at the same time.

Comment: A lovely dram. Sensuous and complex.

Taster

Nose: Massively floral like opening an envelope of rose petals. Waves of sweetness from green sharp fruits, apples skins, rhubarb and apricots. Some lush exotic spices as well.

Palate: White chocolate, mango fruit salad, hints of bitter oak and fresh cream. A little earthy too.

Finish: Spirity at the end, but in a good way, then it dries leaving oak spices.

Comment: A stunning whisky, almost everything you need for the spring.
