Tasting Notes

Nose

Mature, with Madeira-like dried fruit rancio of oxidised grape. The grain spirit dried fruit notes come through along with sherrywood spice and coffee, hot Shredded Wheat and a light, freshening citrus.

Palate

Elegant, citric and spiced with dried grape and barley. The sherry is subtle and comes through along with juicy dried fruit, treacle and grain spirit.

Finish

Long and beautifully spiced with plenty of dried fruit. \n

Comment

This proves that when you get the oak balance right with a grain and a sherry cask, it’s a great combination.
