Nose: Delicate and perfumed, a florists in the spring. Fresh cut grass and warm barley fields. There is a zestiness to this. Walnut Whips, fuit and nut chocolate as well.
Palate: Follows the nose. Barley sugar, that fruit and nut chocolate comes through. Classic rhubarb and custards sweets.
Finish: Crisp and dry.
Comment: Lovely stuff, perfect for this time of year. Refreshing.

Taster
Nose: Grassy and floral. Angelica, lemon balm. Meadowsweet flowers. Drying hay. Citrussy. A delicate nutty touch emerges with freshly crushed hazelnuts.
Palate: Quite crisp. Raw silk feel. Lively grassy flavours. With the same nutty note as on the nose. Water brings out lemon drops and vanilla.
Finish: Short, dry, clean. Hint of mint.
Comment: An invigorating whisky. Perky, refreshing, leaving a clean taste on the palate. It gives an uplift on a misty morning.
Score: 8.3
