Taster

Nose: Slightly unripe pear/melon, touch of green grass, balsa wood and grape\rskin - even grappa. Slightly raw.

Palate: Sweet and better than the nose. Spicy with hay and light wheat chaff in the\rcentre. Just lacks expressiveness and integration.

Finish: Clean and short.

Comment: Like No2 this is delicate but while that shows good distillery character this\rjust seems not quite fully formed. Pleasant, but pleasant isn't enough\rafter two decades.

Taster

Nose: Grassy, light. Honeyed syrup. Poached pears. Touch of lemon balm.

Palate: Sweet mellow. Gently flows on the tongue. Silky texture. Lovely balance.\rStar anis. Peaches in tin. Sherbety

Finish: Lively, fizzy. Soothing on fresh almonds and aniseed.

Comment: A whispering whisky which speaks up on the finish. Ideal for celebrating the\rIndian summer.
