Malty and nutty with a precise oaky character. Toffee. Apples cooked in honey. A sap touch.

Palate

Round and sweet with a bitter oak note. A bit weak at midpalate. Oak revails. Drying on ground ginger.

Finish

Dry, a bit astringent with a sweet aftertaste. Dried apples.

Comment

A well structured dram but the oakiness is a bit too blatant for me.
