Those spices really work the tastebuds. However, the palate doesn’t promise what the nose lays out.

Nose: Clover honey, salted caramel then thistles and gorse. Salted potatoes, Parma ham. Leather books and a faint hotdog truck scent, mustard seed and maple syrup.
Palate: Liquorice then salt and chilli prawns. Very bitter mid-palate. Vanilla and sea salt ice cream, meaty edge from the nose takes over.
Finish: Spicy with mustard roast ham, then a serious sea salt tingle. There is a numbing slight bitterness.
Comment: Those spices really work the tastebuds. However, the palate doesn’t promise what the nose lays out.

Nose: Pink grapefruit, lime zest and freshly baked gingerbread, a backline of tobacco infused sugar syrup and last night’s bonfire embers. Nice amount of peaty smokiness.
Palate: Well there’s no hiding from the smoke on this anymore as it has blown the bloody doors off. Undertones of hazelnut praline, ginger, orange creams and dark chocolate.
Finish: The bonfire smoke definitely lingers on and on with a orange-ginger finish
Comment: Eating an entire pack of chocolate covered ginger nuts on Bonfire night.
