Nose

Fresh and confected, treacle sponge. Coal. Gummy sweets and toffee, liquorice root, intriguing menthol, laced with dried seaweed.

Palate

A grainy texture with sweet golden syrup, vanilla and a heady, tangy just-brewing beer character. Nettles, nectarines, white pepper and pencil shavings complete the picture.

Finish

You can taste the funky beer character for some time, followed by that slightly bitter note that you get once you’ve finished a pint of lager.
