Nose
Odd winey notes, slightly sour. Green plum and pear drops, then a note like warm Fino sherry. Touch of saltiness and a little smoke. In time oilskins. Water adds complexity. Seems old but very fresh.
Palate
Rounded and sweet. Deep palate where the vanilla/coconut notes mix with nutmeg and that briny quality. Olive. Succulent and long.
Finish
Coal dust.
Comment
Great balance. Worth a look.
