Nose

Toasty and buttery oak with clean corn, wood spice and herbal rye. A well-hidden orange note but a serious oak fest!

Palate

A touch more edgy with citric spirit character and hints of earth, dark rye and spice. Oak on the middle, silky and buttery but the rye has the edge giving it better balance. \n

Finish

Long and earthy with lingering rye, sweet oak, corn syrup and dark chocolate. \n

A brilliant rye. If the nose had the clarity and intensity of the rye that the palate did, it would be running for Editor’s Choice.\n
