Taster

Nose: Intense. Amaretto, cherry stone, pine, light rye dustiness, bitter chocolate, spiced buns. Wood oil, into varnish, citrus zest and firmness.

Palate: Clean and precise with good grip. The chocolate reappears alongside some tobacco, then masses of spice, maraschino, caraway, rye.

Finish: Tinned cling peaches, oak.

Comment: A well-balanced slightly lighter style of Turkey, but another finer addition to the range.

Score: 8

Taster

Nose: Hazelnuts, dark chocolate, tropical fruit. With water up came some aloe vera with peaches.

Palate: Peaches and sweet mint and lots of American oak.

Finish: Like sucking an apricot stone: fruity, woody and bitter of the year.

Comment: Good dram, lacked the greatness you'd hope for with such age.
