Leans toward peat-smoke, but beautifully composed. Luxurious. With a cigar?
William Grant & Sons
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Clean, fresh, earthiness. Soft nuttiness. Slight peaty dryness.
Palate: Honeyed but lively. Sweet sherry. Rich maltiness but also well-intergrated peat-smoke dryness.
Finish: Restrained. Gentle. Gradually warming. Long. Lingering smokiness.
Comment: Leans toward peat-smoke, but beautifully composed. Luxurious. With a cigar?
Nose: A lusciously rich, complex nose with heather bell, lemon, honey, spicy sandalwood and an intriguing winey note.
Palate: Very sweet to start and holds beautifully in the mouth. Ripe and rich with a lovely mix of vanilla, heather honey and spice.
Finish: Long, rich and elegant.
Comment: So thick and honeyed you could paint it on your lover's body. A true star.
