Nose

Crisp green and floral notes, like walking through a wildflower meadow in bloom. Hints of eucalyptus and mint humbug boiled sweets. Some woody spice. Almond frangipane and crisp pastry.

Palate

Full. Sweet pastry, a little toasted almond, and a tropical undercurrent of melon and papaya. Vanilla paste and a little caramel latte. Spice from powdered ginger. Toffee and sugary date chunks.

Finish

Long, on cherry sencha tea and a little caramel sauce.

Lovely complexity and a subtle but supportive malty backbone.
