Nose

This reminded me of making models - wood glue and balsa wood. Also licking stamps and brown envelopes. New fresh oak and light citrus notes.

Palate

Very silky smooth like lemon curd and syrup. Grape skins and the juice from tinned fruit salad. Fresh wood shavings and hazelnuts.

Finish

Spreads over your tongue like gomme syrup but without being overly sweet.

Comment

The initial nose threw me off balance, but it grew on me. I’d enjoy this with a cube of ice.
