Nose: Grainy. Popcorn and pear drops. Apple boiled sweets, chives, and white pepper. Under this, frosted cornflakes and lemon-lime candies. Vanilla bean paste and powedered sugar.
Palate: Medium-light. Somewhat concentrated apple and pear notes. Vanilla and honey. Some subtle cinnamon and nutmeg notes. A little sweet shortcrust pastry with custard. Lime and meringue.
Finish: Medium, on poached pears with brandy.

Palate: Light bodied. Tarte tatin with vanilla custard. Hints of elderflower and gooseberry. A little cinnamon biscuit.
Finish: Medium, on apple and warming cinnamon.
Comment: A straightforward, easy-drinking blend for those who like them grain led.
