Peaty: smoked meat, a just-dead bonfire, dry leaf with light oil/resin. Fragrant. With water a hint of sulphur, bay, and a nutty maltiness.

Palate

Bone dry, smoky: burning timbers. Light butteriness/sweet macadamia nuttiness.

Finish

Bone dry, smoky.

Well-made and gentle, but straight down the middle rather than mouth-filling.
